Licenses

Antfly and everything in our public repos are available under the Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2). You can use, copy, distribute, and create derivative works — free of charge. The license includes three straightforward limitations: no providing the software as a managed service, no circumventing license keys, and no removing copyright notices.

Termite, our local ML inference runtime, is fully open-sourced under the permissive Apache 2.0 license. Use it however you like — commercially, in proprietary products, or as part of larger systems — with no restrictions beyond preserving the license notice.

Antfly Cloud, our fully managed database-as-a-service, requires a commercial license from Antfly. This includes maintenance, support, SLA guarantees, and customary enterprise terms.
